OK technically it's a garage.

Still haven't sold it yet?
Lock it away. In 40 years, someone will find it and it'll be worth a shitload.

could you please go start it occasionally so when I find it all the seals aren't junk?

Nope, it didn't sell. I was sort of surprised since I think I priced it right at $60k, but maybe people are waiting for the 2M. I did get the questionable pleasure of dealing with a lot of time wasters on eBay though, so that was a real positive.
Exs: 1. "I know it's worth more, but would you take $10k plus an E60 M5 with 150k on the clock in trade." 2. "It didn't sell, but I was the high bidder under reserve, so you should sell it to me for my bid." (time about 5)
Driving it up from SF to Napa reminded me how awesome it is, so I'm not necessarily sad about it not selling.

Oh yeah, it's not going to just sit. Cars are meant to be driven. Battery tender = unnecessary.

I lol'd hard on the first one. Because E60 M5s aren't going for under $30k nowadays with like 50k miles.
Keep it forever!

My body is willing! Should my investments see exponential gains this fall I'll give you a call...
Note, 1 stock is. However i didn't bet the estate on it so there you have it, always mismatching my bets.

I think you've made a smart decision in keeping it, if only for a bit longer.
